Born in Paisley, Scotland, in 1953. My parents encouraged me in many ways despite my attempts to frustrate them, and from an early age I always considering writing……but not too seriously as it would interrupt my general enjoyment of life. In 1986 during a period of enlightenment, following a disastrous first marriage, I was drawn into a career in nursing. The NHS was never the same again. However life itself had thrown a few spanners in the works, some of which may well be covered in an auto-biography. Hopefully, it will make for some very interesting reading, but meantime I have created a series of humorous, well observed and informative travel books. These may be based on cruise ships but the information is suited to all travelers.
